Our Winery
The Mastropiétro Winery is a family owned business established in 2005. Our Tuscan-style winery features a tasting room, a banquet room, and a kitchen. The Italian decor, enhanced with stone fireplaces, creates the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a relaxing evening with family and friends. We have a wonderful selection of fresh food and various other beverage options available for your enjoyment. Gift cards are also available .
Our tastefully decorated banquet room will accommodate forty-eight people and is the perfect place for any occasion, business gathering or social function. The quaint bar and kitchen are available for catering needs. Feel free to choose from a list of several local caterers who offer a wide variety of culinary delights.

Our Vineyard & Estate Grounds
We are the first and only winery in Mahoning County with a thriving vineyard that produces grapes for harvest. Our estate-grown varietals include Vidal Blanc, Chambourcin, and Frontenac which are used to create many of the tasty wines you’ll find at our winery. We also import some of the best grapes from Northern California to round out our remarkable wine selection.
Our winery is situated on a picturesque 14 acres in Berlin Center, Ohio. Three acres of this country setting have our established vineyards and the remainder of our grounds is used for many of our special events throughout the year such as concerts, balloonfest, outdoor entertaining, weddings, and car shows.
Outdoor amenities include a large patio seating area with gas fire pits (for those chilly evenings), a gazebo and two pavilions for additional seating options or rental spaces, and a 1-acre lake that provides a beautiful backdrop to gorgeous sunsets.

Our Sports Bar
Located inside the winery, we have a full service bar stocked with local craft beers, . Come watch your favorite sports game, enjoy a game of pool, darts, or Keno, and have some tasty sandwiches, snacks, and appetizers. Our bar is accessed through the winery during normal winery hours and through the side and rear entrances after hours. Happy hour specials 3-6pm Wednesday and Thursday.
Who We Are
Winemaking has been a part of the Mastropiétro family tradition for half a century. During those years, grandfather Joseph, father Daniel and his brothers crushed grapes and made wine annually for family consumption in the “cellar.”
Tales of the process and special occasion tasting left a deeply embedded impression, particularly with two young family members. This firmly implanted impression led to the vision you are now embarking on: the winery.
And the story begins… twelve years after the first home crushing of grapes… a farm purchased, intense research, strong determination, and labors of love. What was once a dream has now become reality. Proudly, Daniel, his wife Marianne, and sister Cathy introduce you to the Mastropiétro Winery.
